ADVISORY GROUP FORMED

The Board is pleased to announce the formation of a high level advisory group consisting of 12 very experienced and highly regarded members of the industry.

The group consists of David Meehan (BIAV President/Mercury), Michelle Reid (Dunbier Mackay), Daved Lambert (BIAV Board), John Haber (Haines Hunter/Sthn Formula), Paul Savage (Jr) (Streaker Marine), Theo Rozakis (MY Marine), Simon Ryan (Boats’n’More), Alan Whitley (Whitley), Stuart Jackson (Riviera), Mark Stav (JV Marine), Scott O’Hare (Aussie Boat Sales), and Steve Walker (BIAV CEO).

As BIAV looks to refine its strategic priorities, and following a recent Board level review, the Advisory Group has come together to help guide and advise from an all-of-industry perspective. This includes, however is not limited to matters such as event strategy, future boat shows and boating activations, revenue generation, and general boating marketing and promotion.

The first two meetings that have already taken place, since the group was formed in late April, have been very valuable with great insight and expertise provided. There has been healthy debate, however a strong sense of shared objectives when it comes to matters relating to the overall health and prosperity of the industry and boating in general.

All BIAV members can feel free to be in contact with any of the Advisory Group members who will be only to happy to absorb ideas and feedback and be a conduit back to the wider group.
