World class Boat Builder Haines Hunter is based in the western region of Melbourne. Haines Hunter is seeking a Boat Builder to join their exceptional team. Haines Hunter offers superior working conditions in a new facility. The company prides itself on producing a world class crafted product and has been inducted in The Victorian Manufacturing Hall of Fame.

This full time position includes Detailing, repairs and Assistance in Assembly. This position also comes with an opportunity to learn other skills within the boat construction industry. You will also be working in our After-Care Centre, working on repairs and custom fit outs.

This role reports directly to the factory supervisor. You will be required to have a positive team focused attitude with the ability to operate on your own when required. Any boat building or marine associated experience will be an advantage to the applicant. The successful applicant must be competent in using air and power tools including grinders.

A trade background in the spray paint, fibre glassing or Carpentry industry would also prove to be an advantage as will an eye for detail.

This position has the opportunity to offer a secure long-term position with a negotiated wage within the bracket indicated based on the applicant’s experience, attitude and attendance.
