ABC's LANDLINE FEATURES THE SHELLFISH REEF PROJECT

Albert Park Yachting and Angling Club, at the end of Kerford Rd, on Port Phillip is a great club, in an excellent location, with a great fishing and boating culture. The club is also heavily involved with the Nature Conservancy in its Shellfish Reef Project. Building and nourishing the ‘artificial’ oyster reefs, the program is dramatically improving water quality, replenishing fish stocks, providing a great reef option for fishos, and improving the overall dynamic of the bay.
