6.0 FURTHER EXTENSION

The current Lockdown 6 has been extended for an additional two weeks, until Thursday 2 September. This also comes with a 9pm til 5am curfew and the closing of playgrounds.

In terms of business and trading, it seems the same restrictions are in place, please see below.

Some of the restrictions most relevant to BIAV members.

Stay home unless -

  • Shopping for necessary goods and services

  • Caregiving or compassionate reasons

  • Authorised work (see some examples below)

  • Exercise (up to two hours, with one other person or members of your household) This will include boating/fishing.

  • Receive a COVID-19 vaccination

Work: If you can work from home, you must work from home.

General retail: Closed (open for contactless click and collect only)

Hospitality Open for take-away only

Authorised work -

  • Vehicle and mechanical repair services;

  • A ‘click and collect’ service

  • Emergency services, including both volunteers and paid

  • Administrative services provided by an employer to enable its employees to work from home

  • Port operations

  • Freight services

  • A transport, freight or logistics driver

  • All manufacturing
