BIAV Member's Olympic Sons

Will and Sam Phillips have made a great start at the Tokyo Olympics. The brothers, from Sorrento, are the sons of BIAV member Tim Phillips of the Wooden Boat Shop. This is the first Olympics for the brothers after an extensive campaign, over many years.

After the first four races, they are placed 3rd, and remain very much in medal contention. Australia has a great recent record in their class, the 49er, with medals at the last two games through Nathan Outeridge and Ian Jenson.

Keep an eye out as the Phillips boys tackle the remainder of the races and aim for gold over the next few days.
