NSW-VIC BORDER OPENS TODAY

Effective today,  Monday 23 November, the NSW Victorian border has reopened to allow people to enter from Victoria without quarantining.

This means people entering NSW from Victoria will no longer need to enter quarantine after this date, and boaters will be allowed to move freely between states. However, it is important to continue to practice social distancing at boat ramps and other waterway access points.

NSW is the first state to open its borders to all other states since the start of COVID-19. It is a welcome move towards kick-starting the economy and tourism, and the beginning of a more COVID normal as we lead up to 2021.

Transport for NSW will continue to keep our customers and stakeholder up to date with latest news that may impact on boaters. You can check their website here. They remain focused on keeping you and the customer safe as a key priority.
