On 1 October 2020, Standards Australia published updated gasfitting standards compromising of:
Amendment 4 to AS/NZS 5601.1 Gas Installations - Part 1: General installations (AS/NZS 5601.1), and
Revision of AS/NZS 5601.2 Gas Installations – Part 2: LP Gas installations in caravans and boats for non-propulsive purposes (AS/NZS 5601.2).

Energy Safe Victoria (ESV) and the Victorian Building Authority (VBA) are hosting a series of free webinars, from 17 November to 1 December 2020, to provide gasfitters and the caravan and boating industries with details on these changes.

What will I learn in the webinar?
Each webinar will be split into two sections:
Section 1: High-level changes to AS/NZS 5601 coming into effect from 1 October 2021. This section will run for approx. 15 minutes and is for all gasfitting plumbers, and the caravan and boating industries.
Section 2: Key changes to AS/NZS 5601.2 coming into effect from 1 April 2021 (except for provisions relating to quick-connect devices). This section will run for approx. 25 mins and is for the caravan and boating industries and any interested Gasfitting plumbers.
In both sections you will have the opportunity to ask questions of our expert hosts.
