THE LAKE EILDON BOATING & FISHING SHOW WAS A SUCCESS!
The Boating Industry Association of Victoria CEO Steve Walker has declared the inaugural Lake Eildon Boating & Fishing Show an overwhelming success.
Approximately 3,500 people turned out to Houseboat Harbour at Lake Eildon, in mainly beautiful weather conditions at the iconic event location.
Major Partners including the State Government and Murrindindi Shire were equally upbeat. The Murrindindi Shire CEO Craig Lloyd intimating at the Shire’s appetite to host the event again in 2020.
This event was extra special due to the incredible houseboat display, and in excess of 40 boats were available for demos and trials on the lake.
The Official Opening of the Show was attended by the Minister for Boating & Fishing, Hon. Jaala Pulford, along with Murrindindi Shire Mayor Sandice McAulay and MSV Safety Director Cameron Toy.
There was also an incredible array of stage presenters, awesome prizes, family entertainment including a magician, face painting and fish stocking, delicious food and an amazing band. The Life's Better with a Boat Fireworks on Saturday night were a big hit, and blew everyone away!
