DECKEE AND STV

Safe Transport Victoria is excited to announce that starting this month, that they are partnering with DECKEE, a free boating and fishing app with tailored waterway and boating safety information.     

DECKEE will complement STV’s existing communication channels by allowing them to speak to boaters directly. However the website will continue to offer safety and regulatory information, and the Boating Vic website will provide live boat ramp camera feeds.     

Already popular with over 96,000 Victorian users, DECKEE is also used in WA, NSW, and Tasmania. This partnership will help us expand the reach of our boating safety education and provide us with valuable data and insights into recreational boating across Victoria's waterways.    

The app is available for Victorian boaters in the app store, and users will soon see Safe Transport Victoria branding and direct links to their safety resources.
