CASUAL EMPLOYMENT DEFINITION CHANGE

The casual employment relationship is changing, and it is important for BIAV members that engage casuals to understand what defines employment as a casual versus permanent ongoing employment. A new definition of “casual employee” will be introduced to the Fair Work Act from 26 August 2024.
