O'HARE/REID ELECTED

Scott O’Hare has been elected by his fellow Board members for a further 12-month term as BIAV President. Joining him at the executive level as Vice President is Michelle Reid. This was further to the recent AGM outcomes, which took place on 23 April, that saw the full Board composition of Scott O’Hare (Aussie Boat Sales), Michelle Reid (Dunbier/Mackay), Michael Neumann (RYCV), Peter Buckingham (Life Members), Anthony Cooke (Moose Marine), Daved Lambert (Independent), Neil James (Independent), and Steve Walker (CEO/Exec). Scott, entering his eighth and final year on the Board, as per the constitutional requirements, thanked his fellow Board members for their faith in him, and said he looked forward to a strong BIAV year, and great engagement with members. Michelle has ascended quickly to this role, in only her second year on the Board. This complements her managing director status at Dunbier, Mackay, as well as the Trailer Repair Centre. Scott also thanked Michael Neumann for fulfilling the vice president role for the previous 12-months and doing a great job. Michael remains on the Board as the Marinas/Clubs division rep, continues as GM at Royals in Williamstown, and as the chair of PoWAG, so won’t be dropping off in terms of his involvement!.
