LORD MAYOR CONGRATS
BIAV and Melbourne Boat Show congratulate Nick Reece and Roshena Campbell who have been elected Lord Mayor and Deputy at the very recent City of Melbourne elections. Both Nick and Roshena are great supporters of the Melbourne Boat Show, which will enjoy its fourth iteration at Docklands in October 2025, with the City as its ‘landlord’. Cr Campbell, speaking at the 2024 event for the Official Opening, outlined the City’s support for the boat show, and recognised its great value to the city.

The ABC reports …. Nick Reece has won the City of Melbourne lord mayoral election, with Roshena Campell elected as deputy lord mayor.
Independent Cr Reece was one of 11 lord mayoral candidates in this year's election, including former AFL star Anthony Koutoufides and seasoned City of Melbourne councillor and former deputy lord mayor Arron Wood.
The election result was announced on Thursday, with 87,852 formal ballots counted in the poll, according to the Victorian Electoral Commission.
