DIGITAL JOBS BUSINESS GRANTS

The BIAV in partnership with the Victorian Government will hold an Member Information Session on the Digital Jobs Program. This program offers businesses two opportunities to access digital skills and includes grants of $5000.

1. The Digital Jobs program enables businesses to fast-track recruitment of digital roles with participants who can make a valuable and immediate contribution to your business. Digital Job participants are mature, business savvy people with demonstrated aptitude, and transferable skills from their previous careers. They have newly acquired digital skills from industry-backed and leading universities, TAFE or private training providers. The program offers businesses the opportunity to host a Digital Jobs program participant, receive a $5,000 wage subsidy for each 12-week work placement offered and have the option to retain the participant as an ongoing employee.
 
2. The Digital Jobs in Manufacturing program offers fully subsided training to upskill your employees to build the digital capability in your Victorian manufacturing businesses. Grants of up to $5,000 per employee are available to eligible manufacturing businesses to enrol nominated employees in a free 12-week training course to learn new digital skills. Businesses can select from a list of 12-week online, part-time industry endorsed courses delivered by Victoria’s top universities, TAFEs and private training providers. With the courses being part-time your staff can continue working while learning.
