BIAV thanks Michael Polan from St Kilda Boat Sales for his four year contribution on the Advocacy Committee. Michael helped as the committee continued to advise the CEO and Board with regard to advocacy matters and most recently with the run up to the state election that is fast approaching. If you are a BIAV member that would be suitable for this committee, or know of one, please let stevew@biavic.com.au know. There’s also a space or two available on the Education and Industry Skills Committee. Preferably someone from the boat builder sector would be great, or a marine trimmer. Get involved and support your industry association.
