LOCKDOWN LATEST - 7 DAY EXTENSION & GOVERNMENT SUPPORT

No doubt you've heard of the 7-day extension. Not great news at all.

Some things to note are -

• There is now a difference between metro and regional. Hospitality and outdoor recreation restrictions have been eased for Regional Victoria, however remain in place for Melbourne.

• The five reasons to leave home remain in place for Melbourne, however with a 10km limit. This no longer applies for Regional Victoria.

• Retail remains click and collect in Melbourne, and open in Regional Victoria, however with density limits.

• Boating and Fishing is outdoor recreation in Regional Victoria and is therefore permitted. As it is in Melbourne, however within 10km, within 2 hrs, with a mask, with immediate family or one friend, and without requiring a closed venue to be opened.

• In terms of work, there are minimal changes however this addition may be of consequence..... Services that operate solely outdoors where physical distancing can be maintained at all times is permitted.

• As previously shared, Vehicle and Mechanical repair/service is on the permitted list. As is freight/delivery.
