UPDATED AND IMPROVED ABP STANDARD - EDITION 5

The updated and improved ABP Standard – Edition 5 is now publicly available via the Maritime Safety Victoria website. This is due to come into effect on 5 June 2021, or ideally, sooner.

Australian Builders Plate - Standard Edition 5

Victoria is hosting the Standard on behalf of the Australian Recreational Boating Safety Committee (ARBSC) while a new national website is created to host the Standard into the future. We’re expecting the ARBSC site to be live around February 2021.

MSV is aiming for the Standard to be enacted in Victorian legislation on or before 5 June 2021. TSV are communicating it now to provide a good opportunity for the industry to familiarise themselves with the Standard before 5 June 2021.
