Congratulations to Dougie Bauer – 2017 BIAV Apprentice of The Year

DSC_0365smlThe Boating Industry Association of Victoria (BIAV), has awarded the 2017 Victorian marine Apprentice of the Year to Dougie Bauer at the 2017 Melbourne Boat Show on Monday, 19 June 2017.

He is currently completing a Certificate 3 in Marine Mechanical Technology at Chisholm Institute and is employed by JV Marine World in Braeside.  He was among four apprentices from throughout Victoria to be nominated for the award.

Dougie was chosen as the recipient of the award for his significant skills, dedication and behaviour both at school, the workplace and involvement with the community.  Read more…
